I build automations for businesses using Google Sheets & Apps Script, n8n, Node.js and custom API integrations. Common automations are Invoicing, lead enrichment, follow-ups, CRM syncs, document generation, reporting and AI-assisted workflows that replace hours of manual work each week. I have a Master's in Computer Science and spent five years as CTO of a tech startup, delivering systems for companies including Skyscanner and American Express. Most of what I build runs on Google Apps Script, JavaScript and Node.js, with API integrations and OpenAI or Claude where they earn their place. Some recent projects: - Provider billing and payroll for a care organisation: invoice processing went from days to under an hour, payroll consolidation from days to half an hour - Automated WhatsApp and email follow-ups across hundreds of real estate deals: agents and attorneys chased automatically in business hours, with escalation and reply tracking, no manual chasing - Direct mail letters generated from Google Doc templates: batches of up to 1,000 letters in one run, every lead tracked - Inbound lead enrichment for a B2B software company: each new HubSpot lead is researched with AI and posted to Slack within about two minutes, at a cent or two per company - Client service workflow for a national electrician company: Typeform requests turned into Google Docs work orders and contractor tasks, cutting requirement gathering from days to minutes - AI-powered CV analysis and candidate matching for a recruitment company, removing a daily two-hour task - Apps Script web apps: a social media planner that writes a month of posts per client with OpenAI or Claude, and a mobile-first analytics dashboard - Google Workspace to HubSpot CRM sync of contacts, leads and pipeline data - Google Sheets enrichment with Google's Places API: addresses, ratings, opening hours and websites - Gmail to Airtable: bank transactions tracked and validated automatically How I work: we walk through the current process together, agree what each step should do, and I build it in stages so you can check the system as it comes together. Everything I hand over includes a written guide and commented code. The systems I build keep a plain log of what they did, skip anything they've already handled, and email someone if something breaks rather than quietly stopping.
