Ed L.
Certified QuickBase Expert Builder/O365/Power Platform/SharePoint
Almost 40 years in the IT industry and have filled numerous roles ranging from a Novell Certified Network Engineer to Director of Information Technology. I am not your average status quo thinker, and colleagues have often remarked that after only a short while on a project site, I will know the business processes as good or better than the clients. In addition, I have the unique ability to explain complicated technical solutions to business users in terms they can easily understand. I must stress that while I have held executive positions, I have always been very hands-on and much prefer getting my hands in the weeds rather than the management aspects of IT. I am very comfortable working with Network Design/Infrastructure and pretty much anything Microsoft. My most recent position was Director of IT for a Disaster Recovery Firm and Solutions Architect building QuickBase Applications integrated with many different Front ends. Very well versed in all API functions. Webhooks etc. and have contacts with full-stack developers to provide additional functions. Before that, I was a Systems Integration Manager at Captech Consulting where I worked solely with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013 and O365 as a Business Analyst and Out of the Box Developer with some SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 and Microsoft InfoPath 2010/2013. Previous to my time at CapTech, I worked as Director of Information Technology at an Electrical Cooperative and also fulfilled the role of SharePoint 2007 Administrator and Engineer, upgraded to SharePoint 2010 with no significant issues. I am very knowledgeable with TCP/IP, Firewall configs, Cisco Router configs, and Microsoft Server Operating systems. I do hold expired MSCE and CCNA Certifications along with a host of additional certs. I desire to find contract work to work on a flexible schedule, preferably part-time or full-time but short duration.
