Mario C.

Hello, My name is Mario. I am focussed on three main domains: - Language skills: I'm a native Dutch speaker from the Flemish part of Belgium. - IT, integration skills: I have a master's degree in computer science. I currently focus on Google Apps Script and forms (Google and Jot), and on security (TryHackMe) - Scuba diving: I am a scuba diving instructor. IT: From my previous experience as a software engineer, I have learned the importance of paying close attention to the client's requirements and expectations. A good analysis before jumping into implementation leads to the best results and minimises rework and bug fixing. In my career as a software engineer, I was mainly a Java developer. Currently I switched to the latest JavaScript standards, mainly Google Apps Script. I am developing automation scripts within the Google Suite. As can be seen in my portfolio, I have been writing scripts for Google Sheets and integrating with Forms (Google Forms, JotForms), Drive, Mail, Calendar, and APIs. I am currently working on my AppSheet skills, and I have earned the Jotform certificates. I am happy to assist you with any integration project you are working on. Language: As a native Dutch speaker, I enjoy the localization aspect of translation, as well as translating ads and marketing materials, which requires creativity with language to craft appealing texts. I always re-read my work before submitting it. Punctuation, correct use of tenses, and formal vs informal are important aspects of any translation/proofreading assignment. I also do subtitling (.srt, .vtt, or similar) and transcription. I hope to hear from you soon! Mario
