In my current position as a Technical Writer I am responsible for all product documentation, which includes creating and maintaining documentation for the company’s proprietary software applications. My writing responsibilities include user guides, implementation guides, quarterly release notes, and other training documentation for end users. I also have extensive experience copywriting and proofreading; everything from company newsletters and presentations for senior management or potential clients, to coworkers’ interoffice communications. Any of my previous supervisors will attest to the fact that I am an extremely quick and proficient worker, even going as far to acclaim that work they assign me would take another employee three times as long. I love what I do and editing is something that comes easily to me, even when I wish I could turn it off in my brain (reason I have an aversion for subtitles).
