Stemming from my experience living in New Zealand, US, South Korea, and the UK, I have developed a passion for studying languages and continuously seek to improve my depth of understanding and nuance. Additionally, I can also excel technical translation since I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering in South Korea. I also have extensive bilingual experience in both the undergraduate setting and professional environment. Notably, my work as a KATUSA(Korean Augmentation to the United States Army) and my previous job at Yonsei University, as the International Services Coordinator, have given me confidence in understanding and addressing cross-cultural communication and matters. I was also qualified in both Interpretation & Translation Certificate (English to Korean) by International Interpretation & Translation Association which supports my practical experiences. In addition to my other qualifications, I am well versed in matters related to trade and international economic affairs evidenced by my certificate of International Trade Professional issued by KITA (Korea International Trade Association) which enhances the quality of my business translations.
