I have good experience with Linux based servers for the backend and Windows Desktop software for the frontend. My experience starts with the earlier client-server paradigm using MySQL/Postgres backends on the server with Delphi/C++ based windows clients and extends upto the current paradigm of moving towards NoSQL/Elastic data stores with node.js backend having a html5 based frontend. Keeping with trends, most of my recent work is on newer languages like Golang and python. Golang scales up very well to complex loads like a heavily burdened process control system. Also most of my current work is on backends which have API available for rich PWA frontends made with Angular & React. I relish making fresh optimized code if the task is simple rather than using large frameworks which can be overkill for simple projects. However if the project requires it I have very good experience with complex frameworks to achieve the end result. As a C++ developer I have worked on audio & heavy processing related tasks like audio cross-correlation & realtime transcoding or similar multimedia based tasks. I have also made python & c++ based full blown Immediate mode GUIs using hardware acclerated openGL for embedded devices with webUI's for the same.
