Klaviyo Email & SMS Expert | Strategy, Retention, Copy & Design.
You've already paid to acquire every customer on your list. Email is where that spend should compound, and in most eCommerce brands it sits at the bottom of the list because nobody owns it. That's what I do. I own the retention channel end to end on Klaviyo, so you stop managing it. I'm James. Since 2017 I've worked on one platform and one channel: Klaviyo, for eCommerce brands. No Meta ads, no SEO, no full-service anything. Just the channel that compounds. Judge a retention specialist by his own retention. My longest-standing client, has been with me for over five years and has gone from $274K to $5.32M a year in Klaviyo-attributed revenue, seven consecutive years without a down year. The latest year was up 33% while sending to 35% fewer recipients. In an industry where the average engagement dies inside twelve months, those are the numbers I'd want to see if I were hiring. What that looks like on my client accounts (every figure is Klaviyo-attributed revenue taken from the account, not estimated): → UK gut-health brand: £337K to £573K in a year, up 70% on 6% more recipients. Flow revenue up 172%. → Health and supplement subscription brand: in my first full year, revenue per recipient was 2.74× what the previous setup produced. $6.6M under my management since January 2022. → Teeth whitening brand: campaign revenue up 35% and conversions up 35% while sending to 29% fewer people. Shopify's returning-customer rate for the store was 4.9% the year before we started. This year it's 17.3%. Notice what isn't in that list: open rates, emails sent, flows built. I measure the channel on revenue per recipient and on how many customers come back for a second and third order, because that's what you're actually paying for. How I work: Strategy, copy, design, flows, campaigns, segmentation, deliverability, A/B testing, pop-ups and SMS, all handled by me. You're not briefing five people or chasing an account manager. Every email is designed in Photoshop before it's built in Klaviyo. Every strategy starts from your data, your margins and your customer journey. There is no playbook I paste in, and if a flow already works, I leave it alone and fix what doesn't. Start with the audit. Before any engagement, I go through your Klaviyo account and show you exactly where revenue is leaking: dead flows, segmentation gaps, deliverability drag, form leakage, with the money quantified. Most of what I find isn't in the emails. On one account, 15% of sign-ups were never receiving the welcome email. The emails were fine. The flow was triggered on list membership rather than the form submission itself, so a whole category of sign-ups never qualified. Rerouting the trigger took coverage from 85% to 100%. You keep the findings whether we work together or not. If I don't think I can move the needle, I'll tell you. I do my best work with established Shopify brands where email is treated as a serious revenue channel, not a box to tick. Send me a message on Upwork about your brand, and I'll walk you through how I'd approach it.
