Gonzalo B.

I am a bilingual native speaker (English-Spanish) from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a Literature Major who graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), where I focused my studies on North American and Latin American Literatures. Currently, I am a member of Duoliongo's Localization Team, where I translate and transcreate newsletters, blog posts, and marketing videos to reach Spanish speakers worldwide. I've been working as a Creative Writer and Copywriter for the last five years, publishing in Argentinian magazines (Revista Replay, NaN) and UBA Alumni Magazines (Esta!, Código y Frontera). I also work as a Community Manager for Revista Replay, creating original content to attract a bigger audience through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I've worked as a Ghostwriter and as a Translator numerous times, translating short articles and entire books from Spanish to English and vice versa. I've also proofread and edited an anthology of short stories from various Latin American authors published in the U.S. In between 2013 and 2016 I worked as a Script Writer for my own video game saga (a parody RPG under the name Final Puantasy). During that project I also worked in sprite design and image and video editing. Some of my works are uploaded in this profile. Feel free to take a look them. Thanks for taking your time to read this. If you want to contact me, send me a message and I will answer right away.
