Something funny to make your day! :-) Welcome to the world of translators: - Anybody that had a language course included in their high school education or has a foreign-tongued grandmother can be a translator! - There is no difference between a translation and an interpretation! - We don't need dictionaries! - We don't even have to understand what we are translating because translating is just typing in another language! - We don't need proofreading or editing! - That marketing copy that took a team of 20 people two months to put together can be translated overnight by one person and still retain the same impact as the original! I am a 30 year old native German female who is married to an English man and has been living in Spain for the last 11 years. What can I offer you? - knowledge in writing, interpretation and proofreading - general translations from Spanish into German - general translations from English into German - deep interest in your project - punctual delivery of my work - respect of your privacy What can you expect of my translations? - No word to word adoption of the original text, but a quality translation that makes sense to your reader and that captures your reader so s/he wants to read more! - Your reader will think that s/he is reading the original text – no hint of translation. - Consideration of details that may be present in the original text. - Adoption of form of expression depending on the original text's genre. - Immaculate German grammar and orthography. - Researching content if necessary. - I always have your goal in mind, e.g. obtaining more readers/clients, aiming for international market growth, including your SEO keywords in my translations... Just a short info about my person if you are still with me: - I am a passionate writer of (blog) articles, short stories and even novels :-) - I love reading all kinds of books and genres, also classics.
