I help teams build and maintain Java/Spring Boot backends, develop APIs, and investigate production issues. I have six years of Java backend experience, including three years on a cybersecurity risk and compliance platform. My work covered requirements, technical documentation, implementation and delivery. For an existing system, I start by understanding the code, reproducing the issue and agreeing on the smallest useful change. For new development, we agree on the API, data model and acceptance criteria before implementation. A focused paid review or a clearly scoped first task can be a practical starting point.
