EXPERIENCE Division Manager at Productive Playhouse (August 2023 - March 2024) In August 2023, I was offered the position of Division Manager for the Burmese Language Locale at Productive Playhouse, a renowned company specializing in secure, premium data services across over 300 languages and locales worldwide. The core responsibility involves serving as a pivotal link between the operational team and the management, fostering coordination and collaboration to grasp the nuanced requirements of clients for each task. By actively engaging with the management team, I ensure a thorough understanding of client needs, preferences, and objectives, which serves as the cornerstone for devising effective strategies. Through this collaborative approach, I lead and manage the team, leveraging their skills and expertise to deliver outcomes that not only meet but exceed client expectations. This entails not only ensuring the alignment of tasks with client objectives but also overseeing the execution process to guarantee the delivery of high-quality results. Freelance Operation Manager/ Team Leader/ Trainer (2021- Present) ● In 2021, I embarked on a role as an Operation Manager for the TikTok transcription project. ● My responsibilities included various aspects such as job description writing, recruitment processes, training, quality control, and payroll management. ● I successfully recruited 70 members for the project and provided comprehensive training on utilizing the TCS Platform for transcription tasks and maintaining high transcription quality standards. ● Over a period of six months, the project reached successful completion, showcasing the effectiveness of our team's efforts. ● In 2022 and early 2023, I worked as a Team Leader role for additional transcription projects originating from China, leading a team of 20 members to achieve project objectives with precision and excellence. English Language Translator/ Interpreter/ Transcriber/ Proof-reader December 2013 – Present While completing my thesis as part of my English Master’s Degree programme I worked full-time as a translator at ERA Technology Limited where I worked translating over 20 novels from Myanmar into English, and English into Myanmar. My translations were then converted into a digital format to assist young language learner. In 2014, I moved to Naypyitaw and keep giving translation services as a freelancer. My clients are from different fields and most of the data are update news, company documents, project proposal, yearly reports, banking and finance reports and so on. Language Teacher December 2015 – Present I enjoyed teaching English to high school and university students for five years while I was attending university. I continued pursuing my passion for teaching while in Nay Pyi Taw, establishing myself as a Burmese language teacher serving Nay Pyi Taw’s expatriate community. I took advantage of a gap in the market (no Myanmar language teachers in Nay Pyi Taw) to offer my teaching services to Nay Pyi Taw’s growing expatriate community. I give language instruction to over 10 students per-week, preparing lessons plans, developing language learning material.
