Ailina K.

Hey, my name is Ailina. I'm 32 years old, did an apprenticeship as a real estate agent, and worked many years as an accountant. Then I started studying. During my studies of Applied Leisure Sciences B.A. I was able to learn and deepen various things, including business administration and management in tourism, marketing/e-marketing, media studies, creative writing, law, psychology and sociology, tourism policy, etc. Since 2022 I work as a proofreader/editor, copy and ghost writer, and translator. At first for someone else, and since summer 2023 finally on my own. I have a passion for proofreading and editing books, articles, websites and other texts for spelling, grammatical and stylistic errors. Even during my studies, I helped many fellow students to correct their academic work. My clients particularly appreciate my eye for detail, my logical thinking—especially when it comes to the common thread in books—and my sense of style. I especially enjoy editing books and giving translated texts a natural German touch, so they read as if they had originally been written by a German author. Over the past years, I have worked on Hannah Shield’s Bennett Security series (right now I'm working on her next series for the German market) as well as several books by Anna Hackett and also on a book by David Penny. I͏ h͏ave already written͏ a w͏ide range of t͏exts, ͏i͏ncluding landing pages, blog posts and e-c͏o͏mmerce conten͏t (produc͏t and category descrip͏tions). This ͏experien͏ce has a͏llo͏wed me to gain vers͏at͏ile skills and professi͏ona͏lize t͏he quality of my wo͏rk. SEO optimizatio͏n i͏s also n͏o pro͏b͏l͏em f͏or me͏, so I͏ am well͏-versed i͏n creatin͏g effective͏ conten͏t͏ for vario͏us ͏platfor͏ms. In 2021 I did an exchange semester in Finland, and am traveling basically since then the world. Consequently, I understand English pretty well and can translate it into perfect German because this is my first language. I know all grammar rules and I know what to pay attention to.
