Hello, I’m Kaori, a Japanese writer and translator based in Berlin. I have over 10 years of experience in Japanese writing, English writing, and English-to-Japanese translation, having started my career in 2011. Born and raised in Japan, I studied CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY at university and lived in Marrakech, Morocco, from 2001 to 2016. Since 2016, I have been residing in Berlin, Germany. I am the author of two guidebooks published by Japanese publishers. I was responsible for data collection, essay writing, explanatory texts for each destination, and photography for both books. These guidebooks have been reprinted multiple times, and a new edition is scheduled for release at the end of 2025. In addition to my writing career, I have experience in designing handmade Moroccan crafts, exporting them to Japan and the US, and managing major online sales platforms. I also have extensive knowledge of international import/export and product sales in Japan. I previously ran a licensed travel agency (Type 3) in Japan, specializing in coordinating magazine features and TV program shoots in Morocco.
