KYOUKO Y.

I am a native Japanese language professional specializing in English-to-Japanese translation, Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), proofreading, and editing. I have over three years of experience working with a long-term international client, reviewing and refining English-to-Japanese translations of extensive written materials, including biblical commentaries. My work focuses on: * English-to-Japanese Translation & Review – Ensuring accuracy and consistency with the original English text. * Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) – Improving AI-generated Japanese translations to make them natural, clear, and accurate. * Japanese Proofreading & Editing – Correcting grammar, word choice, sentence structure, and unnatural expressions. * Long-Form Content Editing – Maintaining consistent terminology, tone, and readability across lengthy documents. I pay close attention to detail and strive to deliver polished Japanese text that reads naturally to native speakers while preserving the meaning of the original. I value clear communication, reliability, and long-term professional relationships. I welcome both ongoing collaborations and individual translation and editing projects. I look forward to working with you!
