Eriko A.

Thank you for visiting my page! I have been working as a Japanese-English interpreter for the past decade and I am currently based in Nairobi, Kenya. Having lived in the U.S. for 10 years and some other countries in between, I have a fairly good understanding of both Japanese culture and other cultures, which provides great context when I do interpretation work. Here are some of the works I've had the pleasure of working on in the past: Simultaneous interpretation (Zoom/ in-person) -Executive meetings and other internal business meetings - Shareholder meetings -Conventions -Bilateral meetings between governments (agriculture-related) -Market research interviews Consecutive interpretation -Investor meetings -Business meetings -Presentations of motivational speakers to a large young audience Although I currently focus on simultaneous interpretation, I will be happy to discuss other ways in which I can help you; in addition to simultaneous interpretation, I have assisted clients with regular translation and interpretation, project management, and market research in the Japanese market. (rates will vary based on the work) Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Looking forward to working with you!
