Michael Y.

I design online learning experiences people actually want to complete. If your course is a wall of text, your training feels like a slide deck, or your Canvas site is a file dump, I turn that material into interactive instruction — scenarios, gamified practice, LMS builds, and custom browser activities — so people finish it. I take a learning project the whole way: idea → learning architecture → content → interaction → development → testing → launch Instructional design, teaching, writing, multimedia, and web development sit in one process, so you are not splitting the work across five people to get from brief to launch. What I Bring • MEd, Instructional Design • MEd, Educational Leadership • BA, German Teaching • Instructional design at BYU — online world language courses built in Canvas • Classroom teaching (elementary, secondary, and post-secondary) • Curriculum development • German (fluent) • Author and editor • Educational games and interactive learning • Multimedia production and voiceover I work from SME interviews, existing content, or a blank brief. Hire me when you need a course, an LMS experience, or an interactive learning project.
