Diego C.

Hi! Welcome to my general profile! I am an Italian freelancer with several years of experience as professional online translator and video editor. Those are my great passions and it's incredible how often I can find ways to incorporate my knowledge in both fields into my works! Feel free to check my specialized profiles! I'm specialized in: ♢ Edit videos for your agency/personal brand/youtube channel either fixing mistakes during recording or adding visual effects (transitions/animation/text-on-screen...). ♢ Caption a video following the standard rules of subtitling (words on screen per minute, best text size and fonts...). ♢ Precise and technical translations: Amazon products and technical manuals are my bread and butter. I'm used to check DNT (Do Not Translate) terms, to follow the italian style guides and to learn new translation platforms. ♢ Localization and more flexible translation: if you have an app, a videogame or a text that needs a specific focus on YOUR average audience I will find the right tone and words to use in order to obtain an italian text that is easy to read and understand. I'm used to work with softwares like: ✔ SDL Trados Studio. ✔ Sony Vegas Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Filmora. ✔ Aegisub. ✔ Crowdin. ✔ Audacity and Adobe Audition. ✔ Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...). ✔ Photoshop, Gimp. I'm intraprendent and not afraid to ask questions about a job to obtain the best possible results!
