Katja O.

I am a highly motivated, flexible, and creative individual with a broad range of experience in various industries. Illustration, translation, copywriting and communication are my main points of interest and expertise. I create lively, vibrant illustrations that captivate your readers, translate from English or Spanish into German, and also write on point and concise copy to attract more customers to your project. A little about my background: I gained a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts in Edinburgh. While living in London, I worked as a temporary Personal Assistant for several institutions of the University of London. For the following ten years, I was a language teacher and freelance translator, while simultaneously building a music/stage career. In the last 8 years, I have focussed on literary translation and Children's book illustrations with quirky, soulful, expressive animal or human characters. I look forward to collaborating with you and co-creating amazing content, be it visual or written.
