Translation English - German, German - English Translation Dutch - German Proofreading German -- Please be aware, that I do not accept being paid outside of Upwork. -- I am a native German, who has lived and studied in the UK and the Netherlands. Therefore, I am fluent in both English (UK) and Dutch. I have an educational background in psychology and medicine, so I am well accustomed to the terminology of these fields. I am usually available for projects on short notice. I am interested in both short-term and long-term jobs. However, I do work a full-time job already, so I can only offer working between 10 - 20 hours a week. Depending on the time of year my availability might change, so please do not hesitate to contact me. I am very meticulous and reliable. I have great attention to detail and feel that seemingly minor changes and adjustments can have an enormous effect on how well a translation is perceived by native speakers of the language. A text should always feel natural to the reader. Similarly, proofreading is of great importance to me. When reading a published text on the internet, in a magazine or book, I sometimes stumble across mistakes that are still in there. And even if it is just one tiny mistake, someone somewhere will always have their attention drawn to it. Your texts, translated or original, should be perfect - if you want to sell your product, if you want to convince your customers to invest their money in you, if you want someone to read your book, and if you want to be taken seriously in your field of work.
