Antonio C.

Hello, I’m Antonio, a native Italian translator and proofreader based in Italy, with eight years of professional experience. I specialize in English-to-Italian literary translation, while also working across a wide range of scientific, technical, commercial, and digital content. Since 2018, I’ve worked with individuals, businesses, translation agencies, and international companies. My literary portfolio includes published novels and multi-book series across romance, fantasy, thrillers, and other forms of narrative fiction. These long-form projects have given me particular experience in maintaining consistent terminology, characterisation, tone, and narrative style across complete books and series. Beyond literary translation, I’ve worked on scientific and technical texts, marketing materials, apps, websites, blog posts, subtitles, and other specialized content. I adapt my terminology, writing style, and level of localization to the subject, purpose, and intended audience of each project. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. My academic background and previous laboratory experience in wine microbiology are particularly valuable when working with food, agricultural, scientific, and technical materials. What I can do for you: ✅ Book & Literary Translation: 100% human English-to-Italian translation of novels, series, and other narrative content ✅ Translation & Localization: Accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate translations across different subjects and formats ✅ Proofreading & Editing: Careful revision of Italian texts and translations ✅ Transcription & Subtitling: Accurate transcription and natural subtitle adaptation for audiovisual content ✅ Content Writing: Clear and engaging Italian content adapted to its purpose and audience If you’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient translator, feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to discuss your project. Antonio
