Hello and welcome to my page! Here's a short introduction of my multimedia production & localization support services. MULTIMEDIA SUPPORT I help to bring my customers' audiovisual, creative, or entertainment content to life and to share it across borders and cultures. Services: ► Voice over & dubbing performances (FR/EN/SV + JP for simple/short scripts) ► Consulting ► Translation & transcreation (EN/SV>FR) ► Proofreading & copy editing (FR) ► Subtitling (EN/SV>FR) ► Audio QA (FR) ► On-screen acting ► Tailor-made solutions (when the services above just don't cut it, or when the result targeted is clear but not how to get there) ► I team up with other professionals to cover additional languages & services and manage the process on behalf of my customers (so they only have to speak with one person — me) Some projects I've worked on: ► 700+ voice acting projects: video games, corporate videos, e-learnings, documentaries, radio/TV/Internet ads, audio guides, short film, animation, VR experiences, exhibitions, etc. For customers ranging from small, local players, to major international organizations. ► Helped an audiobook company develop a localization strategy to decrease their translation costs while continuing to meet their customers' expectations. ► Helped a translation agency improve the overall quality of French translations for one of their biggest customers. ► Translation & transcreation of game content, manga/comics, voice over scripts for TV documentaries & online videos, PR material, a radio ad (song), audio guides focused on history, tourism and French cuisine… ► Copy editing and proofreading to improve the flow of website content, clarify audio guides, adapt the tone of animation scripts to suite the target audience (children), clarify a film director's vision to secure financing… ► Subtitling origination for documentaries, feature films, online videos… and QC for work out videos in an app ► Audio QA to check the pronunciation, acting performance, sound quality and sync to picture of the French version of yoga, dancing, and work out videos ► Played Comte Montblanc in the TV program 歴史探偵：渋沢栄一inパリ万博 (NHK) + other minor roles for Fuji TV, KTV, ABC, TBS ► …and more! Synergies: Offering the above set of services along with tailor-made solutions makes it possible to deliver more value than by simply offering each service separately. See the following two customer cases: ► Helping a production company improve the French version of their animation TV series for kids: 1. Instead of discussing services to provide, we agreed on (and based my fee on) an end-result, so they knew I'd help until we had reached that goal. 2. I proceeded to identify & list discrepancies between the original English version of the show and its French version. 3. I briefed the team on my findings (which included issues related to the translation of the scripts, the voice actors cast and their performance) and advised them on the best strategy based on budget and priority levels. 4. I reworked the scripts to improve what we had agreed on, and created a glossary and instructions for future translators + acted as an advisor on all topics related to this French version. 5. On top of encountering much more success in France with this new version of their show, the production team used my approach, feedback, and methods as benchmark and best practices to establish processes and guidelines to improve other localized versions. ► Voicing & localizing a company's self-guided tours: 1. While I was initially contacted to voice existing content, it quickly became clear the company actually needed someone who could copy edit, localize and voice their tours, and also needed an advisor on certain creative decisions and the production process as a whole. 2. We agreed on a fee per tour that would cover all services necessary to create and localize content the way the customer wanted, while also granting access to my knowledge & advice whenever needed. 3. My input allowed to save time and simplify several steps, while giving the tours a unique identity the company has used as branding and whenever pitching their concept (to raise financing, for instance).
