Hirosuke N.

If you need English content to work naturally and professionally for Japanese users, I can help. I am a native Japanese localisation specialist focusing on English-to-Japanese translation for websites, manuals, software, business documents, finance, manufacturing, and technical content. With over 20 years of experience in web development, localisation, and real business operations, I do more than translate words. I adapt structure, tone, terminology, headings, CTAs, UI text, and line breaks so that the final Japanese reads naturally and works effectively for Japanese users. Before joining Upwork, I completed 200+ projects on a major Japanese freelancing platform, earning consistently excellent client ratings and long-term repeat clients. My Japanese linguistic precision is strengthened by over 20 years of involvement in Japanese children’s literature, giving me a depth of nuance, rhythm, and cultural intuition that goes beyond typical native proficiency. --- Selected Achievements - Led the localisation and translation of a 300+ page FX system manual as the primary translator and team lead (10‑member project). - Translated and recreated 500+ pages of CAD mechanical drawings into English, including complex layer adjustments in JWCAD. - Long‑term localisation partner for a major UK publishing company’s official Japan website. - Produced overseas‑facing corporate PR videos, handling planning, filming, English narration, subtitles, and delivery. - Conducted research and produced analytical reports for US and European clients, synthesising English‑only sources into high‑quality Japanese reports. - Involved in the development of 2,000+ websites over 20 years, primarily for medical institutions, with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI readability, and responsive design. - Completed 200+ projects on a major Japanese freelancing platform with perfect client ratings. ---
