Dejan M.

Expert in Spring and JEE. Vast experience with many top Java frameworks (Hibernate & EclipseLink, iBatis, Struts 1 & 2, Wicket, RESTEasy & Jersey). Excellent knowledge of HTML & CSS, together with javascript and its popular libraries jQuery, ExtJS. Working smoothly in any team, using version control systems like SVN & Git and tools like Ant & Maven. All backed by fluency in DB layer - writing complex SQL & SPs for MySql, Postgres, SQL Server, DB2. Having a comprehensive knowledge of all layers of a modern web enterprise application, I can supervise the technical aspects of a team of developers, as well as choose and set up optimal set of technologies to meet project needs. At the same time I am able to contribute to developing critical tasks. I have extremely high coding standards. The code that I produce is always clearly written, formatted and documented, using recognized patterns and best practices, optimized for execution and scalability, and consistent across the whole project. Maintainability and ease of serving new requests is extremely important. Proper testing, unit and integration, is mandatory. I also demand this criteria for those who I am supervising. Over the last 13 years I've worked in various companies; developing highly critical applications (in terms of responsiveness, reliability and security) for such clients as banks and European public institutions. I'm capable of working according to a strict specification, but also analyzing loose requirements and making reasonable decisions if given enough responsibility on the project.
