I am a bilingual speaker, born in Portugal with Spanish parents. I have an MA in teaching and translating Spanish and Portuguese and a C1 language certification for German. I also live in Austria which allowed me to learn in context and improve my German language proficient faster. Over the last 20 years I've been teaching, translating, copywriting and profreading Portuguese, Spanish and English. and German for the past year. I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with a strong passion to develop my career in language teaching and translating. I am eager to implement the professional skills I have developed so far while being committed to ongoing learning. In addition, I have a range of skills from my employment experiences, including in time management, working under pressure, professional communication and presentation, and creative problem solving, which will add further value to my contribution. I bring to my work a commitment to the teaching profession, a willingness to work collaboratively with others and a strong desire for quality outcomes. As a result of the knowledge and skills gained through my studies at the University, my public schools experience and my translating and creative writing jobs. I am confident that I will be able to fulfill more than adequately the requirements of the positions I apply for.
