Thomas A.

I am an experienced freelance translator and proofreader with over 250 successful projects. I translate between English and German and from French into English and German. I cover a broad range of subjects, including software, technical manuals, contracts/legal documents and business documents/communication. I am a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of professional experience in a high-paced, international environment. I worked as a Partner/Managing Director in a large, global IT consulting company (Accenture) where I managed C-level client relationships and led teams of up to 500 people. I know how to deliver quality within agreed timelines. I am bilingual (mother tongue) in English and German and fluent in French. I have used German and English on a daily basis for over 25 years now in both my professional and personal life as my wife is British. I have lived in France for a total of 15 years. After retiring from the corporate and consulting world, I have been working as a translator since 2016. I studied electrical engineering in Germany and the US and hold a degree as MSEE.
