Alexander S.

Greetings, My name is Alexander, I am 23 years old and I am a fourth year law student at the University of Helsinki and economics student living in Vaasa, Finland. I have always had an interest in languages and therefore I chose The LL.M. program in Vaasa where the education is bilingual in either Finnish or Swedish. My mother tongue is Swedish but my written Finnish is at the same level as native Finnish speakers' since I've been learning Finnish from the age of 8. Since I started as a freelancing translator in 2017, I have translated texts related to the following categories: REAL ESTATE GAMBLING/CASINO ECOMMERCE MARKETING AND SALES FINANCE LEGAL Currently I am focusing on becoming an authorised translator in Finland and Sweden for legal documents for the language pairs Finnish-Swedish and Swedish-Finnish. However I also translate texts for the language pairs English-Finnish and English-Swedish. I started translating texts on Fiverr in the beginning of 2017, but soon I realised that the site was full of "translators" who use google translate. I simply couldn't compete with their prices and delivery times. Although all of my clients on Fiverr were satisfied with my work, I knew that there were better alternatives out there and I found UpWork, a serious website for serious clients. So far my clients have been very satisfied with my work! I'm planning on starting to use CAT-tools more often to keep up with the competition and already have some experience in Memsource. Hire me to make your text a success! Best wishes/Terveisin/Hälsningar/Cordialment/Liebe Grüße, Alexander
