I am a native Greek Linguistic and Translator with years of experience working in professional and scientific communities. As an expert translator, I have mastery of the following languages: English, French, Spanish, and Greek. I strongly believe that for a translation to be accurate, the translator must have mastery in the languages and be able to understand the meaning behind the words and not just transliterate words themselves. I have been freelancing for the last ten years. During these years I have had the opportunity to work in a wide number of projects of all kinds and I have learned a great deal throughout this process. I am always open to new challenges that help me keep learning new things. I have been working as a proofreader and translator since 2003. I specialize in Website/Game Localization, Business & Finance, Social Studies, Tourism, and Technical Translation. I use CAT Tools, currently, I favor SDL Trados. I love my job and I want to deliver top-quality translations. I consider myself a hardworking, helpful, and reliable person. My emphasis when working is on functionality and readability, accuracy, terminological consistency, and quality assurance (editing and proofreading the final text).
