Kerstin T.

I am a native German speaker and translator and have been living and working in the UK for 15 years. I am passionate about all things language and have been writing and translating for nearly 25 years. I've been working as a full time translator for the last 6 years. I have a Master's degree in English and German literature, language, and linguistics (Hamburg University), and a Master's degree in Translation Studies (University of Portsmouth). I am specialised in creative translation/transcreation with my experience ranging from literary translation to marketing copy, such as Google ads, blog posts, or social media content, website localisation, educational or lifestyle copy. I have been working with large companies such as Duolingo or Bumble as well as with small businesses, start-ups, or individuals. Do you need help localising your website or translating your content into German? I'm happy to help! Feel free to contact me any time. I will get back to you as soon as I can, so we can discuss your translation needs, no matter if you require a one off translation, have an urgent request, or if you're looking for a long-term collaboration. I also offer proofreading, editing, and copywriting. I am friendly, reliable and responsive and will keep you updated throughout the process. I will make sure the text you receive will be correct, error-free, idiomatic, and tailored to your audience. You can sit back and relax, as there won't be any nasty surprises, ghosting, or missed deadlines. Sound good? Contact me today!
