Liis M.

Hi there! I'm Liis, a native Estonian speaker. I love everything related to languages, I have a passion for it and I have studied linguistics in university. I specialize in translating English to Estonian, and proofreading. With a BA in Estonian Philology and General Linguistics from the University of Tartu, my language skills go beyond the everyday use – I understand the grammatical and semantical nuances that many native speakers don't understand. On top of that, I also hold an MA in Nature Tourism. This unique mix of language expertise and tourism knowledge makes me an ideal choice for projects in diverse fields, from travel and hospitality to technical and educational content. Plus, with a C1 English certificate and years of living abroad (like Australia and Italy), I’m just as comfortable working in English as in Estonian. I’m passionate about languages and have studied English, Russian, German, Finnish, Spanish and am now diving into Portuguese. My background as a freelance translator and proofreader means I know the importance of detail, deadlines, and clear communication. What I’ve translated so far: * Websites * Manuals and instructions (for medical devices, electronics, and more) * E-commerce product descriptions (jewelry, apparel, travel accessories) * Safety sheets (medical information sheets) * Keywords (especially in medical, fashion, technology, casino and travel sectors) * Marketing content (ads, sales materials, product labels) * Food labels Also, I have experience researching and writing SEO-focused content across a wide range of topics. I’m easygoing, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering quality work on time. Let’s bring your project to life in Estonian with clear, accurate, and engaging translations. Looking forward to working with you! All the best, Liis
