Valeriy M.

Native Russian/Ukrainian interpreter and AI linguistic QA specialist | EN↔RU/UK 100% Job Success · Top Rated Plus · $100K+ earned across 200+ projects Rates: interpretation from $65/hr (2-hr minimum) · linguistic QA from $43/hr · translation from $0.08/word — message before sending an offer with your deadline and subject matter. I deliver live interpretation (consecutive or simultaneous) for conferences and virtual events — clients include Teach For All (sessions up to 128 participants), IsraAID, and a UN-funded research project on countering violent extremism in Central Asia (Opcit Research) — alongside linguistic QA and post-editing for generative AI systems, evaluating and correcting AI-generated Ukrainian/Russian output against structured rubrics. My grounding is 13 years as translator/interpreter on a EUR 400M nuclear safety programme at Chornobyl NPP — zero tolerance for error was a contractual, not aspirational, standard. That same rigor now applies to AI output evaluation: I hold current linguistic QA roles with RWS (Amazon) and previously Scale AI, assessing AI-generated text for accuracy, ranking model responses, and correcting machine translation against rubric-based scoring. Tools: Zoom (including interpretation feature with language channels), MS Teams, Google Meet; Jira, Confluence; MemoQ, Phrase, Transifex, Localise, Crowdin.
