I am a Spanish native speaker, working with languages for the last 20 years. With a MA in English, I started teaching English and Spanish in High School and University both in Spain and abroad. I created bilingual materials for Galway University Language Lab for two years. I got diplomas in English and German translation and started with some legal and commercial interpreting and translation. I worked for four years in a company that produced and sold medical instruments in Catalonia, being in charge of marketing, legal and labelling materials in a trilingual environment, where I improved my Catalan. I have been working part-time in publishing for the last 8 years, developing marketing materials, proofreading the books before publication and creating several materials for the sales department. I can use Indesign and Photoshop to give shape to text and adjust attached images. I have experience with children's literature, fiction and specialized texts on art and social sciences. I have a good eye and I am very fussy with details. Currently am a full time freelancer working for different agencies and customers in medical translations, gaming, product description, tourism, etc. I proofread and translate for publishing companies, create and edit subtitles, and I also teach some English to kids and young adults.
