Martina R.

I am Martina and language is my first passion: Italian native speaker, I've always been fascinated by the way words match together. I have a master degree in Foreign Languages for International Communication and Cooperation from the University of Milan. During the last three years, in parallel with a job as a receptionist in a retail company, I have been working as an Italian teacher for foreigners and as a freelance translator. I developed a wide experience in creating tailored Italian courses, both for adults and younger students. I have been translating from English and Spanish to Italian and vice-versa both in academic and professional context, applying the most suitable translation techniques according to the text and its context, in compliance with deadlines and with the author's guidelines. Of course, I speak English, Spanish and conversational French. I love writing and I offer contents about several topics according to any needs, providing an accurate research and a clear, well-organised text. As a proofreader, I can edit any kind of text, checking mistakes, making the text more natural for readers and also explaining the reasons of my editing choices, if needed. In my working environment I gained extensive experience in prioritizing my activities in a multi-tasking and result-oriented approach. Moreover, I am a communicative person and I love building a strong cooperation with my client, in order to offer the best job and to satisfy any requirement. I hope to have the chance to work with you!
